The principal owners at Maximcash Solutions collectively bring more than a century of experience in Wall Street and the financial services sector.

Mr. Cherner is the Founder and Managing Principal of Maxim Financial Corp (“Maxim”), a private investment fund he established in 1986. Over more than 35 years, the fund actively traded equities and bonds, with total annual trades exceeding $2 billion. Maxim consistently delivered returns of over 20% per year. Many of its financings were structured to secure repayment, often involving UCC filings on business-owned equipment. Additionally, Maxim expanded into commercial and residential real estate development, investing in projects in Boulder, Colorado, and Montecito, California.
Over the past decade, Mr. Cherner has been an active investor in various debt-related opportunities, with a particular initial focus on MCA investments, and subsequently, alternative debt financing. His efforts have been aimed at developing a managed fund in collaboration with senior management and accredited investors who shared in his vision. He is the Co-Founder, and Chairman and CEO of Maximcash, and the Co-Founder and senior management member of MCOF1, SMB Capital, and MCS.

Mr. Lev began his Wall Street career in 1984 after graduating from law school, joining Emanuel and Company as Corporate Counsel. Over the next four years, he advanced to become the Director of Investment Banking. He later founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board at Global Capital Group and Global Capital Securities, a publicly traded investment and merchant banking brokerage firm. Following the sale of his interest in the company, he established First Asset Management (“FAM”), where he also served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. At FAM, he presided over the investment bank that had in excess of 500 employees, 9 officers across the country, initiated 76 public offerings and over 200 private placements, while managing over $500 million dollars at its clearing firm, Bear Stearns Clearing Corp. He sold the company in 1998 to one of their competitors.
In early 1998, he founded Wellfleet Partners, a venture capital and investment banking advisory and consulting firm, which he has managed for the past 26 years. During this time, Wellfleet Partners has collaborated with over 850 private and publicly traded companies, both nationally and internationally. The firm has facilitated and coordinated hundreds of millions of dollars in capital, as well as mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, strategic investments, reverse mergers, RTOs, and public offerings. In 2016, Mr. Lev co-founded Aracle Capital, which has made numerous equity investments through SPVs.
In July of 2020, he and Mr. Cherner founded Maximcash to participate in debt financings. Subsequently, they have founded Maximcash Opportunity Fund 1, SMB Capital, and Maximcash Solutions. As of the beginning of 2025 the four funds have participated in and/or initiated over 930 investments.
